My world!

Today, I stood for the first time by taking support of a window base. I am enjoying it as I can try and do different things which I couldn't do while sitting. Grandmom watch out for more pranks :)..That's another milestone. I love it.

Today, I crawled for the first time. I used to go and get things that I need by performing some feats before. Now on, I am going to crawl and get them. Hope ammamma feels better about this ;-)

My next words happen to be "Tha-Tha" and "Athaaa". Both Tha-Tha and Atha are glad to hear about that :-)

Everyone around me is excited that I spoke my first word which happens to be "Addhaa".

Today is Nanna's birthday. I greeted him "Happy Birthday Nanna". Ammamma made Kudumlu this month since the progress I made this month was "Sitting". Sitting is referred to as "Kurchuntam" in Telugu. It seems elders make  Ku dumlu for Ku rchutam. Well it sounds weird but you know what?....I am having fun :-).  I got to taste it and yes I liked it!!!! Thank you Ammamma :-)

Today, ammamma helped me sit and later I was able to support myself without her help. Hurray!!! It feels nice to sit and play with my toys. Looking forward for more fun :-)

Today ammamma made bobbatlu. I sat in my favourite bouncer and thathaiyya clicked snaps of mine. Thathaiyya and pinni enjoyed the bobbatlu on my behalf :D. Bobbatlu made by ammamma

My maternal great grandmom and I sleep on the bed in amma's room at Bangalore home. There is a wind chime in amma's room with fishes hanging and grandmom taught me that they are fishes. I am still in the process of learning and identifying things you see. SOOO....Now when someone asks me where is the fish, I look at the fishes conveying to them "That's a fish!!!" This is the first thing I have identified as a baby....Hey there I go  !!!! :-)

Today ammamma is taking me to India for a short trip. Amma and Nanna are sad that they will miss me a lot.  I got lots of hugs and kisses from them. On the positive side, I will be meeting my grandparents, great grandparents,uncles and aunts. As I am the youngest, I am sure to be pampered boundlessly. I will enjoy being pampered. Mom dedicated a small poem to me. It seems this is her first one and I am glad it was written for me.

I greeted Nanna on father's day with a personalized card. It was a surprise Amma planned for him on my behalf. Nanna was very happy to see the card.

Today nanna planned an outing to National Aquarium in Baltimore,Maryland. Amma dressed me with a suit with fish prints on it as the theme of the day was fish.Though I slept for most of the time in carry belt, I did enjoy the fishes in the aquarium.  Today amma made a chocolate butter cake. It is her first attempt it seems.Well, only Nanna and ammamma got to taste it. Amma got positive feedback for her cake. Amma you gotta make it again :). Chocolate butter cake made by amma

It is sweet of nanna to have got greetings to give amma on mother's day. I gave the cards to amma and she was very happy to take it from me.

Today Nanna planned an outing to Hershey's chocolate world in Hershey,PA. This is my first outing. I slept all the way in our car but as soon as we reached Hershey, I woke up and started to enjoy the place. The place was very colorful. It was all chocolates and chocolates around. We sat in a small train for a  chocolate tour. I got to see how the Hershey chocolates are made. I also enjoyed a short 3D animation movie.

Its already 2months since I came into this world. I wore a new dress and Amma clicked few snaps of mine. Ammamma prepared bisibele bath, rava poori and onion pakoda. We invited nanna's friends for dinner. Although I didn't get to eat the special dishes, I am sure I will do it next year D).

Amma pampers me and addresses me as "Munnu baby". Today, for the first time, I responded to my mother when she called me with my name. Amma is all excited about it :) :) :)

Happy Birthday Amma!!!!! Today is my mother's birthday. Nanna and myself gifted amma with a bouquet of red roses and a gift card. Amma was very happy to read the special message we wrote for her. I got to wear a new dress along with amma on her birthday. We took some snaps in the evening. Pooja aunty and Upender uncle surprised mom with a cake. We all celebrated her birthday with special dinner too. Many more happy returns amma.... Its been one month since I came out of amma's womb. Ammamma brought a traditional kurtha and kacha pancha which I wore.My maternal grandfather bought a cake for me. Amma and Nanna planned to celebrate the cradle ceremony with friends today. I was showered with blessings from amma and nanna's friends. Thank you uncles and aunties for your blessings.
